The IKEA POÄNG armchair is one of IKEA’s most recognisable lounge-chair designs, combining a curved bentwood frame with a high supportive back and comfortable removable cushion.

This version features a dark black-brown frame paired with a black Knisa cushion. The monochrome colour combination gives the chair a clean and versatile appearance that works particularly well in contemporary, minimalist and modern interiors.

The frame is made from layer-glued wood veneer with birch veneer, giving it the characteristic curved profile and slight flexibility associated with the POÄNG design. IKEA states that the high back is designed to provide comfortable neck support.
