Quick Product Overview

Why You'll Love It

• Three functions in one: Use it as a comfortable daybed, a single 80 × 200 cm bed or extend it into a spacious 160 × 200 cm double sleeping area.
• Mattresses included: The mattresses shown with the actual bed are included, making this a practical ready-to-use sleeping solution.
• Excellent built-in storage: Three deep drawers underneath provide convenient space for bedding, pillows, blankets, clothing and other bedroom essentials.
• Ideal for guests and smaller homes: The compact closed configuration saves floor space while still giving you the option of a full double-width sleeping surface when required.
• Classic HEMNES styling: White panelled sides, high back and traditional black drawer knobs give the bed the recognisable IKEA HEMNES look.
• Flexible room use: Suitable for guest rooms, children's rooms, studios, apartments or multipurpose spaces where seating, sleeping and storage are all useful.

Product Description

The IKEA HEMNES daybed is one of IKEA's most practical space-saving bedroom designs, combining seating, sleeping and storage in one substantial piece of furniture. When closed, it functions as an 80 × 200 cm single bed or daybed, while the high back and side panels give it a sofa-style appearance when dressed with cushions.

When additional sleeping space is required, the lower section pulls outward to create a full 160 × 200 cm sleeping area. This makes it particularly useful for overnight guests, couples or households that want occasional double-bed capacity without permanently occupying the floor space of a conventional double bed.

Three large drawers are integrated below the sleeping platform. Each drawer provides useful storage for spare sheets, duvets, pillows, towels, clothing or children's belongings, helping keep the surrounding bedroom organised without requiring an additional storage unit.

The bed uses an extendable wooden slatted base that supports the mattresses in both configurations. The actual mattresses shown in the photographs are included with this unit, so the customer receives a more complete sleeping setup rather than the bed frame alone.

This HEMNES daybed has been used for approximately 4 months and remains in good pre-owned condition. Its combination of genuine IKEA design, generous storage and flexible single-to-double configuration makes it an especially practical choice for UAE apartments, guest bedrooms and family homes.
