The IKEA TVÄRHAND is a minimalist table lamp combining a natural bamboo base with a slim black metal frame. Its simple open design allows the light bulb itself to become an important part of the lamp's appearance, making it particularly attractive when paired with a decorative globe-style bulb.

The lamp measures exactly 47 cm in overall height and has a compact base measuring 18 cm long × 12 cm wide × 2 cm high. This compact footprint makes it easy to position on bedside tables, desks, side tables, shelves or console furniture without occupying unnecessary space.

The base is manufactured from bamboo with a clear protective lacquer, while the tubular frame and lamp-holder cup are made from steel with an epoxy/polyester powder-coated finish.
