Quick Product Overview

Why You’ll Love It

• Space-saving wall-mounted design: Keeps useful storage off the floor, making it practical for kitchens, utility areas, bathrooms or other compact spaces.
• Modern horizontal format: The wide, low-profile shape works neatly above counters, sinks or other furniture without making the room feel crowded.
• Glass-fronted design: The glass panel gives the cabinet a lighter visual appearance while keeping stored items enclosed.
• Lift-up opening: The horizontal door opens upward, allowing convenient access without requiring side clearance for swinging doors.
• Soft, controlled closing: The METOD horizontal-door system uses a damped lift mechanism for smoother opening and closing.
• Durable tempered glass: The front panel uses tempered glass for greater strength and suitability for everyday cabinet use.
• Clean white finish: Easy to coordinate with modern white, neutral or minimalist interiors.
• Useful enclosed storage: Suitable for toiletries, kitchenware, cups, small household supplies or other everyday items you want kept organised.
• Compact depth: The METOD wall-cabinet format provides useful internal storage without projecting excessively into the room.
• Only 9 months used: A practical pre-owned option for customers wanting IKEA storage at a lower cost than buying new.

Product Description

This IKEA METOD horizontal wall cabinet with HEJSTA glass door offers a clean, modern storage solution for homes where floor space is limited. Its wide horizontal shape works especially well above counters, wash areas, utility spaces or other furniture where a traditional tall cabinet may not be suitable.

The white cabinet is paired with a white-framed tempered-glass front, giving it a light and streamlined appearance. The glass door keeps contents enclosed while helping the cabinet feel less visually heavy than a fully solid-front unit.

The door opens upward using a horizontal lift mechanism with damper, making access convenient while avoiding the side clearance needed by a conventional hinged door. This is particularly useful when the cabinet is installed in a tighter room or directly above a worktop.

Inside, the cabinet provides enclosed storage for everyday items such as toiletries, kitchenware, cups, small containers or household essentials. Its wall-mounted format also helps keep surfaces and floors clearer and more organised.

This cabinet has been used for 9 months and is offered in good pre-owned condition. The photographs shown are of the actual cabinet being offered for sale.
